The Rotary Club of Fayetteville has enjoyed a busy and meaningful month, filled with inspiring guest speakers, recognitions, and fellowship.
This month, we welcomed several outstanding community leaders to share their expertise with our club.
Andrea Cherry Lee, Principal of Fayette County High School, spoke about the important role Rotary can play in supporting students through the Interact Club. Her visit highlighted how service organizations like Rotary can encourage leadership and civic engagement among high school students.
Sandi Donaldson, Lead Educator at The Estate Closing Path and wife of Rotarian Paul Donaldson, gave an engaging presentation on continuing education opportunities for real estate professionals. Her insights demonstrated how professional growth and lifelong learning connect with Rotary’s spirit of service.
Our members were also honored at the District 6900 Assembly. Shawn Elzie accepted the Club of Excellence Awardon behalf of our Fayetteville club, celebrating the teamwork and dedication of our members throughout the past year. Additionally, Laura Weishaar was named a Paul Harris Fellow, recognizing her commitment to service and support of The Rotary Foundation.
The Fayetteville Rotary Club is excited to carry this energy forward into the fall. With strong community partnerships, inspiring guest speakers, and recognition of our service, we remain committed to making a difference right here in Fayette County and beyond.
